Menopause Support

Menopause can affect confidence, clarity and work performance. Many women are navigating brain fog, disrupted sleep, anxiety and unexpected dips in confidence while still trying to meet daily responsibilities.
Our menopause support focuses on practical management. We help women understand what is happening in their bodies, develop coping strategies for common symptoms, and build the confidence to communicate their needs at work and at home.
Support is delivered through structured group sessions and confidential one-to-one conversations, with practical tools women can use immediately.

what is

Menopause?

According to the NHS, Menopause is when a woman’s periods stop due to lower hormone levels. It usually affects women between the ages of 45 and 55, but it can happen earlier. However, Black women tend to begin perimenopause and reach menopause earlier than White women by an average of 8.5 months or more. It affects anyone who has periods. Menopause can happen naturally, or for reasons such as surgery to remove the ovaries (oophorectomy) or the uterus (hysterectomy), cancer treatments like chemotherapy, or a genetic reason. Sometimes the reason is unknown.

What is Perimenopause: This is when a woman has symptoms of menopause but her periods have not stopped. Perimenopause ends and a woman reaches menopause when she has not had a period for 12 months.

The Symptoms

Menopause and perimenopause can cause symptoms like anxiety, mood swings, brain fog, hot flushes and irregular periods. These symptoms can start years before the periods stop and carry on afterwards. Menopause and perimenopause symptoms can have a significant impact on a woman’s life, including relationships and work.

It is also important to note that the severity of symptom and duration for Black women are likely to be more frequent, intense, and longer-lasting hot flashes and night sweats (vasomotor symptoms). On average, these symptoms last for about 10 years in Black women compared to about 6.5 years in White women.

Have some Questions?

We have answers

Any woman over the age of 18 years can benefit from our menopause support. Leaning the skills on how to prepare for the menopause at an early age is advantageous as it will help in recognising the symptoms as soon as they become apparent. We also encourage employers and businesses to book the support for their staff, and Adelphe Connect will run the group workshop at the employer’s premises.

The support that Adelphe Connect offers helps the individual to deal with their symptoms. For example, as a result of the impact of menopause, some individuals could develop low self-esteem, anxiety, lack of confidence, and low libido. Adelphe Connect, will use a series of face-to-face or online meetings to provide counselling service, confidence building exercises and physical exercise. The individual and group support will be delivered in a safe space environment. Adelphe Connect will use its AI tools to group individuals with similar symptoms together. This will help facilitate better conversations. The sessions will be facilitated by our experts. There could also be the need for one-to-one coaching to help individuals if required.

Adelvina’s standout feature is its Cross-Cultural Symptom Threshold Engine. This tool specifically focuses on:

Varying Symptom Thresholds

Personalised Baselines

Allowing users to set a “normal” range that reflects their unique heritage and personal health history, ensuring that the app’s AI recommendations are culturally competent.

Bridging Care Disparities

Providing users with data-backed reports that help them advocate for themselves during medical appointments, especially for groups traditionally less likely to be prescribed treatments like HRT.

The app also integrates standard features such as symptom tracking, expert-led webinars, and lifestyle advice tailored to hormonal changes.
